EMDR Basic Training – Dallas

Training Description:

We will be teaching EMDR Therapy in the standard model.  This training is tailored for licensed or license eligible mental health providers who  treat adults, children and teens in a clinical setting. It will include some developmentally appropriate adaptations. Since EMDR Therapy is a client centered therapy and it can be used successfully with all ages. Our EMDR Training is not only approved by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), but exceeds its requirements. For additional information, email Carol at cmiles@tulane.edu.

Theoretical Framework of EMDR, including the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, and the principles and concepts of EMDR therapy.

You are not accepted into the course until your forms are processed.  Full refunds will be available if you do not meet criteria. All forms should be emailed to Carol Miles at cmiles@tulane.edu. 

Step 3:  Wait for Confirmation by Email

Once you have completed all the forms, you will hear from us via email that your application has been accepted.  At that time, you will be provided with further instructions via email about books you will need and the activities you will need to complete before the first day of training via our online Canvas learning platform.


Cancellation Policy

In the event you cannot attend, it is important for you to provide notification (before the program begins) either by email (preferred) at cmiles@tulane.edu or via phone at 985-893-1248. Cancellations more than 30 days prior to the event subject to an administrative fee of $100. All cancellations 15 days or less are non-refundable.
